Here are the questions we hear most often. Call us if you need help determining whether a self-operated Maui boat rental is right for you.
Who can rent a boat?
An experienced boat operator must qualify for the self-operated rental. If you do not regularly operate boats, contact the team before reserving.
What is the base price?
$595 for up to three hours. Additional hours are $179 each. Fuel, applicable taxes and optional fishing, snorkeling and dining gear are extra.
How many guests are allowed?
A maximum of six people per boat, subject to the vessel requirements and rental terms.
Where can we go?
Approved Maui destinations depend on conditions and operational rules. The calculator provides planning estimates only. Inter-island trips such as Lānaʻi are not part of the standard self-operated rental.
Can we snorkel or fish?
Yes, within permitted areas and under the applicable fishing, wildlife and boating rules. Suitable equipment may be rented separately.
What does your team handle?
We prepare, launch, retrieve and clean the boat. You operate responsibly and complete the pre-departure briefing.
